A melting ice cream van complete with a distorted Greensleeves refrain, a giant lifesaver cap and an outhouse with the world’s best view marked the opening of the 10th Sculpture by the Sea exhibition on the coastal walk from Bondi to Tamarama yesterday. After five years of war, fewer gather to protest

War protesters converged in San Francisco today for the five-year anniversary of the war in Iraq and, from early morning to late evening, rallied, marched, shouted, sang, danced and committed acts of civil disobedience to demonstrate their opposition. More Americans should practice their rights to civil disobedience.

Man hires stripper for dad’s funeral
