i played a few hours of “sins of a solar empire"… i dunno. it got good reviews and i like that a lot of things function on their own without a lot of micro-management… but it feels kind of slow.  I do enjoy zooming in from the galaxy view all the way down to seeing the smallest ship in detail seamlessly. great soundtrack too.

I think I’m going to have to load Silent Storm back onto this computer.

the bonus disc was kinda cool, it went through snakes history from the very first games.

good shit.

i hope 4 plays at 60fps, that shit looked so smooth. the sound was amazing with big bass shaking your heart and shit.

Ah, I was curious about that one too.

I guess I’m still looking for a game that is as good/better than the original MOO (Master of Orion) or MOM (Master of Magic)…

you’re welcome to come over and try it if you want.  I’ve never really got into Master of Orion so maybe it’s a good game, but just not my genre.

I started playing WoW again. I find it amusing that my WoW-playing is a topic of conversation amongst my friends.

2.4’s caused quite a few folks to come back. Magisters Terrace is a love/hate place for me. I love going on my warlock with an equally geared group and steamrolling the place, particularly the arena-style fight.

On my shaman with a not so geared group, it can be a healing nightmare.

Sunwell’s been challenging for us thus far.

rock band dlc

lynyrd skynrd - simple man
the police - message in a bottle
blondie - call me
motley crue - saints of los angelos (new debut single, first band ever to debut single in a game - that’s a bit of a pissing match against Guitar Hero as Def Leppard planned to do the same thing in thier DLC which drops next weekend i believe)

the crue track will also only cost one buck

the others will be in a discounted classic rock pack.

they continue thier promise of weekly dlc, even if they have yet to drop the promised full albums (the music store in game seems built for it and prepared and some leaks have revealed that nirvana - nevermind seems to be complete, as are some tracks from the who’s - baba o’reilly album)

mario kart wii and gta iv in less than two weeks
