Use quick saves
Try using normal infantry, not bikes for the first few rounds and don’t go for the north-eastern city because more likely the computer will kill your infantry before you can capture and you’ll just waste resources. Instead, send two infantry to capture the south-west
Take your time, don’t overexpand.
Try not to ever let the computer capture more than 10 cities. 8/10 ratio is ok as long as you capture one of his cities quickly.
Save up for missiles. Once you get 2, you’ve won as long as you protect them.
Use tanks, recons and infantry as meat shields and move one square at at time diagonally south-east, rotating your meat shields to rest in the cities you’ve captured.
Towards the end the Comp just pumps out Mechs, so try to have 3-4 missiles so you destroy or knock them down to 1hp before they can attack you.
Even if the Comp makes missiles, it usually can’t attack anything because the recon/tank shield can attack it. So it’ll always be on the defensive and retreating.

Sorry, i’m a nerd.
LOL @ the term “meat shield”.
Missiles to me seem a lot stronger in AW:DoR than before… maybe it’s because the cost relative to other units is cheaper.
I really like the new style. I’m not sure even how to describe it… old-school Manga, maybe a little Okami-rough, some over-the-top in-game cutscenes… maybe even a little more SNK than capcom.
Dude, my daughter loves playing video games with me. She just grabs the controls and takes over while doing her baby whales. She always gets me killed, but I’m ok with it.
