i hope you’ve been watching because i’ve found it to be really good.  it’s been 30 documentary films about 30 different sports topics in the past 30 years by 30 different filmmakers.  some of my favorites include the u (university of miami football in the 80’s), the two escobars (columbia’s pablo escobar and andres escobar who was killed after scoring an own goal in the 1994 world cup), june 17, 1994 (tv on the day of the oj chase), but they’ve pretty much all been good.  i didn’t think the one on george steinbrenner was as good as it could have been, but it was still entertaining and educational.

I’ve liked most of them so far.

I did not enjoy the HBO films special on Lombardi.  Or the first Hockey 24/7.
