They’re definitely under dog team… which almost makes them lovable.  The poor guys have to play Brazil first.

I was actually hoping N. Korea would win today against Brazil. I figured N. Korean players would benefit much more by beating Brazil than Brazilian players would get by beating N. Korea.

When I listened to that first Brazilian goal on the radio i thought, “God, I hope nobody’s family gets sent to re-education camp because of that.”

They will punish the athlete’s family if he defects.  NK does that to any defectors.

i feel a little bad for north korea now.  they’re out in their group but still need to play ivory coast.  ivory coast needs brazil to beat portual and then even up their goal differential to portugal’s.  so ivory coast needs brazil to win big and win big themselves.  good luck the north korean defense.

or if they could both lose.  Sucks to be korean-american soccer fan today… or an american-korean one.

True.

Watched the game today with Joaquin, Alan, and Abel today at a German beer hall filled with sad US fans…
