I had a breakfast sandwich, 2 scrambled eggs, 3 slices of bacon, 2 chunks of melted gouda cheese, all on a noah’s bagel with a touch of mayo.  mmmmm.

heart attack incoming.

Ike’s sandwiches ARE pretty good.  Kinda heavy and expensive though.
<burp>

The Ike’s in Redwood City is so nondescript.  How would anyone find it without Yelp!?

^ haven’t tried Ikes but have you tried Little Lucca’s, really good.  Mr Pickle’s isn’t bad.

A couple of the guys who work at Ike’s in Redwood Shores are cute. Apparently they go back and forth between both locations. Yeah, it is kind of expensive for a sandwich. Most are $7-10 and go up to around $20. I’ve only eaten two sandwiches from Ike’s and I can’t put my finger on the dirty sauce. It never seems like there’s that much on it. Is it mayonnaise based? All I know is that the sandwiches can get a little bit oily.

I’ve only been to the Mr. Pickles in San Mateo. The parking there sucks during lunchtime. I used to eat sandwiches a lot from here in high school.

I think my favorite sandwich has to be from Little Lucca in SSF or corned beef from Harry’s Hofbrau.

Best sandwiches ever are at Kitchenette, though they only offer 2 choices each day, and they’re expensive, and small.  But my god they’re like a little bit of food heaven.  Their homemade meats are spectacular.

The contents of Ike’s sandwiches are much more mundane, but Ike’s has great bread.  The dirty sauce is a garlic aoli/mayo that’s baked into the bread, so it’s not very noticeable.

Will try out Little Lucca, thanks for the suggestion.

Oh, and and the cashier at the Ike’s in Redwood City has some major cleavage.

Considering the # of peninsula geeks she sees every day, I’d probably break out the low cut tops if I worked there too.

I went to taco tuesday at Underdog’s in SF. They’re only OK. I wouldn’t pay more than $1 for one of their tacos. The fish taco is on the 7x7 The 2010 Big Eat SF but nobody ordered one. Burritos are *really* small. They almost look smaller than baby burritos you can order at many taquerias but are still $7.50.
