^ That’s the old Japanese market in San Mateo, isn’t it?  I remember going there as a kid because it was the only Asian store around here back then.  I don’t think I have been there in 20 years!

Yup! It’s still at the corner of Claremont and 3rd Avenue. smile

Orzo confuses me, why not just cook rice?

maybe because it’s just rice sized, but does not have the consistency of rice?

i hate when you pick a fun-colored jelly bean, then it tastes wack. i think the pear ones might be my favorite.

Have you tried Bean Boozles from Jelly Belly.

http://www.jellybelly.com/Shop/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=98678

These were taken from the Harry Potter books. Ear wax, Vomit. I went on the factory tour and then got samples at the end. Had to try vomit. Have to say they do a good job of replicating. I don’t think I’d buy them except as a joke on someone, but hey some people don’t like the buttered popcorn flavor (yum)

I visited Jelly Belly factory and have tried Ear Wax, Earthworm, vomit, grass, sardine, rotten egg, and dirt flavors. I must say, rotten egg and sardine flavors were the worst.

Sardine was the worst Jelly Belly I ever ate.

Dirt was kinda nasty too.

what BESIDES SANDWICHES is a food that is easy to make that wouldnt require reheating and will be able to stand a few hours outside a fridge?

so since i’m out from 9-1030 every other day, i want to start packing my lunches and dinners so i don’t end up spending too much on food. i’m okay packing for lunch bc we have a microwave, but for dinner, i wont have access to anything.

so far i’ve done, yogurt, fruit, leftover subway sandwiches, hummus. but are there any real meals i could make? (that’s not too carb heavy preferably)
