Why should they be obligated to bundle in two controllers?  No console does that....

Anyhow, aside from the MGS4 bundle, there’s *might* be a stand-alone dualshock3 bundle in the works.  At least that’s what the rumor was.

^the reason i was wondering, was that the last bundle for the 80gb was at Blockbuster which included a 2nd controller, a game (i think it was the atv game), and a dvi cable, all for $500.  Alas, i found out too late about it, and all were gone from every Blockbuster.  I’m assuming they did that bundle to clear out all of the remaining 80gb ps3’s

that’s pretty generous of Blockbuster.  Sorry if I came off the wrong way.  I meant, manufacturers don’t normally put in the 2nd controller b/c it makes the price look too high.

^nah, i get what you’re saying. and i was getting conflicting messages from people and from online articles as to what would be included in the mgs bundle.  From what I could tell, Blockbuster was just trying to rid themselves of the 80gb, and I unfortunately missed out on it.  Either way, the MGS bundle still sounds like a great deal if it’s $500 w/ game and 80gb ps3

Did you beat the game yet?

No, haven’t played the game long enough with a partner to be able to finish it. The game I heard sucks by yourself, it’s so much more enjoyable with another person. So every time I got a new person to play with, we start over from the beginning. What is cool is that when I do start from the beginning, I load up my profile and I still play with all the stuff I had previously bought and loaded up on my character. That is cool.

I don’t want to buy anything big though, cause after beating the game in standard mode, all the primary weapons will be unlocked and you don’t have to buy them. Just pick them and go. you still have to spend loot on upgrades though. I think.

^ that is true.  i played in by myself and it’s just not as fun as with playing the game with someone else.  although i haven’t played it online yet. 

so joe and mike, who’s the support guy and who’s the assault guy in your team?
