Let the rampant nationalism begin!!

I’m sorry Taiwan, but Dae Han Min Guk is going to stomp on your Formosan asses.

Hey China, you know what to do.

shouldn’t they rotate the host stadium from the tokyo dome?  seems like a huge advantage for the japanese who, talent wise, were already favored over china and taiwan.

i also find it funny when they throw in countries like italy, netherlands and australia just to fill out the 16.  i’m sure they could have divided the us, and other talent rich countries into 2 to get a few more good players in.

Well, that game was over in the first inning.

I am a bit worried, Korea doesn’t have Hee Sop Choi, who was big in the last WBC, and in the Olympics, playing.  And this is going to sound weird, but Chan Ho Park was money last WBC.  But he’s at Phillies camp right now.

Japan did it to themselves with bad fielding.  And being punk ass bitches.

I do like Yu Darvish though, there can’t be that many 6’5” Persian-Japanese pitchers roaming the earth.

True.

Japanland is leading in the 8th, 5-2.

The Koreans who traveled from LA to SD must be going crazy.

USA v. Japan

Korea v. Venezuela

Anyone going to watch the games? I have a couple friends down south who are going and a few friends who are planning to drive down to LA.
