i’ve been giving $200 when both my wife and i are invited, but we haven’t had to deal with travel costs.

is there a wedding registry you can get stuff from? gifts were an awkward thing when i was preparing to get married this spring. cash would have been great, but we felt strange saying that’s what we wanted. so we registered and put many things on our list we might never have gotten on our own.

^^ Yeah, I don’t have real income either, but consider myself lucky that I can still afford to travel to a wedding.

^ I think I’m going to give cash, gift card to Amazon actually, because that’s really what they could use the most, and maybe a little something else.  They registered for gift cards to different places and put those as top priority ahead of other gifts on the list.
