today: 8k Shamrock Shuffle 51.49 min.  Should have been faster, but I had to stop to tie my shoelace.  At least it was almost 6 minutes faster than last year.

^ eek, that doesn’t sound so good.  any remedies helping with the cough and depression?  i used to go running for post break up depression, so i guess that was good for abs too.

I double knot my shoe laces to prevent that. I hate stopping.

I just did a 10k last weekend. Did a slow 9min/mi pace

I’m shooting for a 7min/mi on my next race.

Um, my cough is still kinda lingering, which is annoying.  As for the depression thing, keeping myself busy, being more sociable and spending less time at home alone, and meeting new people helps distract me.  These days I just force myself to eat even though I’m not hungry.

I tried to pitch a service at my gym where a personal trainer would wake you up or call you just to annoy you to get to the gym and when you do go in, you sign a sheet and make a confirmation that you actually got a call from that person and you came into the gym because of it. a lot of people dont really need a full personal trainer, just someone to make sure they get to the gym. that’s almost the hardest part.

that and eating properly.
