^let’s hit up a Brazilian steakhouse and keep your marker on green for an hour.  now THAT’S a workout! haha

Mon - 5.29 miles outside running.  About 32 degrees and clear at the time.  former blister spot still bothering me.
Tues - 2 hours of weights. all upper body
Wed - 5.3 miles outside running.  Beautiful today. 41 degrees, sunny.  blister spot still bothering me, but a little less so.

The 8k race is at the end of the month. This blister needs to go away.

Have you ever tried Body Glide?

41 degrees is freeeeezing!

i might have to try body glide… is it anything like astroglide? j/k

but yeah, like joe said. 41 felt nice today. Just ran with a drifit shirt and drifit hoody.  I just got in a while ago, and was wearing tshirt and hoody too. Tomorrow is supposed to be 52, which means no jacket! Until the beautiful 85 degree Chicago summer comes, I’ll have to be happy with this.

LOL. Yeah, when I first read about it on running/marathon training forums I was thinking “WTF… isn’t that lube?” It actually looks just like deodorant. I got mine at REI. I’ve never had chafing or blisters before, but people were talking about it being painful, so I use it as a preventative.

I got some extra body lube individual packets left over from when grace visited. I can give those to you.

^i’m jealous. haven’t played since last summer.  I’ll need to play more this year, because golf and running took up most of my free time last year

mon: 5.5 miles running
tues: 1.5 hrs of weights
today: 5.2 miles running and 9 holes of golf

I’m ready for sunday’s 8k run. Just hope the weather holds up.

PIcked up a pair of ‘07 Air Pegasus+ today on sale (and w/ a coupon) at Dick’s to replace my ‘06 pegasus, and some body glide like amietron recommended. I got them to start using after the 8k, but they’re so new and cushy that I’m going to be hard pressed not to use them on race day.
