I tend to root for mostly Asian countries… specially Korea.

depends, usually the us though.  i do like underdogs so sometimes i’ll root for the asian countries when they don’t have much of a chance such as in track and field.  i do have a love/hate thing with china so it’s hard for me to cheer for them.

i didn’t even know Laos was competing (in swimming, says the sister). Laos in the house!

korea=taekwondo/judo/shooting/archery/fencing/handball/badminton/table tennis korea won a gold in swimming. f-ing surprising
china=gymnastics/diving/that fast chinese sprinter
japan=baseball
us=beach volleyball

I don’t think of myself as patriotic, but I had to say US.

I love seeing Asian teams do well.

As always, I like the underdog (to the point where when they get better or start winning, I stop rooting for them). It’s more exciting if it is a close match
