I totally liked how Chicago was still pretty much how anyone would see Chicago in Batman, the only thing different was the names of the buildings and the squad cars etc. I like that they totally didn’t dress it up to be a darker looking city like in the first one or any of the other batman movies depicting Gotham City.
Joker was seriously just as scary as Jaws as a movie villain. soooooo good.
Our local radio station (106.7 KROQ if anyone in SoCal listens) happens to mock a lot of movies and point out certain things, one of which was batman’s voice, in his suit. The day before the movie they do the fake phonecall to the guy imitating batman in the heavy voice and it was funny as hell but when I finally watched it in the movie, that’s all I could think about- how farkin ridiculous it sounded when he spoke with his suit on.
Ah well, all in all it was good. Clever social experiment with the boats & bombs.
and after wiki-jumping from the Wachowski Brothers, to ^that movie, to Naomie Harris (the main chick in the flick), i came across ‘The Tomorrow People’. anyone remember that show on Nickelodeon? man, i loved that show.
Edison Chen in Dark Knight was really random, but otherwise the movie was kick arse. Plus I got to watch the IMAX version which made it 10x better
do you know if there are any additional scenes in the IMAX version?
I watched it this weekend and WOW. its a movie i definitely want to see again (in IMAX preferably). really good storytelling, character development. wow.
