Ummm...boring.  I mean, c’mon, just having Rambo mow down a bunch of people with a mounted machine gun is boring. 

There Will Be Blood:

Surely, a tribute to long dramatic montages of people walking around.  Slowly. 

Highly-overrated Oscar material.

atonement: beautiful, yes. slow and dragging? hell, yes. i slept for about half of it and i still know exactly what happened.

“Blind Dating’ - very sweet and meaningful, but of course, predictable
“The Invisible” - it was alright. good attempt on the story, but very cheesy at times
“Definitely, Maybe” - cute and sweet!

i saw Fracture over the weekend.

it was ok. 

but i think pretty highly of anthony hopkins and ryan gosling so was expecting better.

i watched death sentence tonight with kevin bacon.  graphic, but a old school kick ass movie about kickin ass and takin names

^ Ugh the trailer was a complete lie; it took an hour + before the lawn started turning red. Though, they paid some cool homage to Taxi Driver.

I agree with KFC about There Will Be Blood. Despite great acting & cinematography, I was indifferent to the plot, and much more so to the characters themselves.

StarDust was surprisingly awesome, esp. with Claire Dane’s character as a fallen star. Makes you kinda want to find love and hate dead baby jokes.

I forgot about that...saw that this weekend too.

Wasn’t the music weird and a bit too dramatic at times?

“Sicko” = disturbing and depressing
“Eastern Promises” = good/interesting story
“Eyes Wide Shut” = weird and i do not need to see it again

I just watched back to the future for the first time this weekend.  man, that’s a good movie.  I’m going to rent the sequels.

I caught Jurassic Park on TV.  It is definitely in my top 5 movies of all time, I forgot how good it is.

I have this weird urge to see Princess Mononoke again.

The Big Lebowski was disappointing...I was expecting some big things from Jeff Bridges.
