yeah, I like the way a lot of things are pretty intuitive on this phone.  really minor things, like having features like record during the call menu, capitalizing names as I type them in, etc.

should i just stick to nokias?

Hey, does anyone know much about 3G here?  Is there an international standard, or are they on different frequencies for different regions?

ie if I buy a phone in Asia, do I need to make sure it supports the 4 GSM bands plus X bands for 3G as well?

used to use the 8800. it feels
sturdier and has a nicer finish
than the curve 8300, which i’m
using now. though the 8800
is much bigger. (but i like the
8000’s key board more)

i prefer the curve just because
it has a camera. and it’s smaller.
i don’t use the super gps functions
and that sort of rot.

just got the sony ericsson W580i.  In pink because I wasn’t keen on the other colours.  too bad it didn’t come in hot pink.

I’ve never owned a phone with mp3 or photo capabilities before.  Wasn’t sure if it was mac compatible, but it seems like I can just drag and drop things onto the memory stick as long as I can figure out the appropriate folder.

I am sooo due for a new phone. I kinda want to get this one.

but why the hell would they make a phone so damn high tech, but no bluetooth? that kills the want for that phone. It’s like a really hot chick who has a cute personality… but smokes. = game over.

but in luminous black. the new color. i loved my k750i, this is upgraded in so many ways. word.

phones that have flashlights are so fucking awesome. there are soooo many times and situations that i used the flashlight feature on my old phone, it was sweet.

it might come with a usb cable which is generally faster than bluetooth.  but i agree, i can’t imagine going to a phone without bluetooth after so long with it.

The sync is with the IR sensor. damn, who uses that outside of japan? and it doesnt even come with a usb or battery charger, wtf? now that hot chick that smokes also has no legs in the analogy.

I’m thinking about the Samsung Glyde.

It’s such a dumb name.

lol i have the white version.  it came with speakers.  i haven’t figured out all of the features yet.  I miss my nokia though
