Just out of curiosity, what were her living quarters like? I’m a former betta enthusiast.

i just had her in an over sized wine glass with the glass rock.

How long are betas supposed to live?

i’m at work too. :(

I would say 2-3 years. Most are 8 months - 1 year old when they are sold at fish stores, then they might live for around 2 years longer. 4 years is a long time. I’ve never had a betta live for that long.

I’m surprised it lived for 4 years if it only lived in a large wine glass. It’s recommended that there’s at least 1G of water per fish.

well, I took pretty good care of her.  I changed her water like once a week and fed her the good stuff.  I think they are the freeze-dried blood worms.

i think we’re gonna get another pinky...i just hope this one lives as long too

trained a crazy lady today.  she came an hour early just to talk to me privately.  told me a long ass story about how she used to be out in the streets and homeless....just asking for sympathy.

but then....she fucks up my whole training class.  everyone around her was just laughing at her.  she just kept interrupting everything.  after awhile, it got annoying. why..oh..why...did i accept her?

subbing instructors who cut class early because they’re due elsewhere.

my freshly laundered clothes now have a fresh pink look about them.
