^ That’ll happen next year I’m sure. With how much they won this year they’ll get some more National TV dates.

nba finals questions:

what’s your prediction for the finals teams?
who do you think is going to win, how many games?

pee-stones vs sperms
pee-stones in 7

i absolutely do not want to see the fakers
or the sperms win this year

ideally, the celts take it all, but their bench
sucks so bad, i don’t think they’ll be able to
maintain past the east finals. which sucks for
pierce, because he’s one bad mutha.

i don’t really care who wins, but i expect the spurs will.  they’ll struggle with the lakers but will ultimately pull it out.  i can’t go against big shot rob.

I hate the Spurs. I can’t believe they took out the Hornets.

All the teams I care about are now gone… and the possibility of a Spurs-Pistons matchup is almost enough to make me want to watch hockey.

^^Lakers-Celtics doesn’t get your heart pumping?  Revival of a classic rivalry?  The incomparable Kobe vs. the passionate leader KG?  What’s not to like?

What’s not to like?

Feeding Kobe’s gi-normous ego.

Kobe is a hater.  He is the greatest player in the NBA right now, and he is not a rapist.

KG isn’t a leader.  KG is a great player, but he’s never come through in the clutch.  Leaders win games on the road.

The East is over rated, and I think the Pistons will win the series.  Pistons are built for the post season.

If Golden State made the playoffs, they would run the legs off of the Lakers.  Instead the Nuggets and their no defense and petulant superstars choked away in the first round.

Enjoying watching any superstar play is bound to feed his ego.  I don’t like Kobe’s personality, nor do I respect his behavior off the court (adultery/rape, the “jump over a Bentley” commercial, and constant whining about his team among others), but he is an incredible player.  There will always be egotistical athletes who, for whatever reason, have an instant draw that make you want to watch them.  Kobe is one such player.

I guess I was referring more to KG in the recent regular season.  The immediate effect he had on his team’s morale and defense coupled with his individual play had me sold.  But you’re right, the inability to win on the road in the postseason is pretty sad.

i think you have to have some amount of ego to become this good in sports.

^ there’s a difference between ego and being a bitch. Duncan is quite possibly one of the greatest PF to ever play the game. He is really humble player. Lebron, KG, Wade, Arenas probably have ego but people respect them. People might respect Kobe’s game but everybody knows that he’s a bitch.
