I watched a preview of Samurai Girl on ABC Family.  Jamie Chung is the lead.

She needs sword fighting lessons.  And acting lessons.  Ugh.

i like meaningful reality shows.

Sundance Channel:

It’s Not Easy Being Green on; they’re such a pleasant family and it’s neat to see how they greenify things.

Iconoclasts; 2 prominent figures from different fields meet and discuss big things or small things. Dave Chappelle + Maya Angelou. Fiona Apple + Quentin Tarantino. i like to hear how people go through their creative processes or what motivated them during their big work.

Misty May-Treanor tears her achilles…

bad news :( this is a super difficult injury to recover from, I hope she’ll be able to play pro volleyball again.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27021322/

Olympic gold medalist Misty May-Treanor’s “Dancing With the Stars” days are over, according to competitor Brooke Burke, who told a morning radio show that the Olympic gold medalist has a torn Achilles tendon.

Monday morning on 104.3 MY FM’s Valentine in the Morning, Burke confirmed that the beach volleyball star is out of the competition and possibly faces surgery this week.

“Dancing With the Stars” producers did not confirmed Burke’s statement. A spokeswoman for the popular ABC dancing compeition said the status of May-Treanor’s condition — and whether she will continue to dance — would be addressed on Monday’s live performance show.

In a statement released on Saturday, show producers told Access Hollywood: “Misty May-Treanor sustained an injury on Friday and received immediate medical attention. Despite previous reports, she did not break her ankle. She is resting comfortably at home. Doctors will reevaluate her condition on Monday and determine the outcome of her participation on the show.”

However, earlier on Saturday, a source close to the show told Access that the volleyball star will require surgery.

May-Treanor’s injury is the third so far this season — booted comedian Jeffrey Ross suffered a scratched cornea during rehearsal and pro Karina Smirnoff twisted her ankle just before the season seven premiere.

Though the competition is just two weeks old, May-Treanor has already stepped out as a “Dancing” star on the rise.

She consistently received 21 points out of 30 for the host of dances she performed with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

And last week, Misty received some of her highest praise from the judges after performing an intense paso doble with Maks.

“Compared to what we [last] saw I want to thank you, because that is the kind of determination we need,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba said on Monday’s show, before turning her attention to Maks. “You gave her one of the most ambitious routines in week two, what are you doing?”

The Olympic champ has pulled double duty in recent weeks, competing on the AVP volleyball tour and training for “Dancing.”

Just two weeks ago, she and partner Kerri Walsh won the $1 million AVP Crocs Cup Shootout in Manhattan Beach, following their earlier victory on September 14 at the AVP Crocs Tour in San Francisco.

So the South Park Indiana Jones rape episode was easily one of the most horribly/wildly amusing things I have ever seen.
