this will only be good (and still not necessarily good) if they bring back some of the old cast.  if it’s new people, it’s just another show.

The CW puts ‘90210’ spinoff on fast track - No details on whether original characters will make transition

LOS ANGELES - The most popular zip code on television is back.

The CW network is developing a contemporary spinoff of Aaron Spelling’s seminal 1990s teen soap “Beverly Hills, 90210,” sources said.

Details on the project — including which if any of the characters on the original series will make the transition to the spinoff — remain sketchy.

The spinoff, which is close to getting a writer, has been put on the fast track by the network. It is expected to decide whether to order a pilot by the end of the month.

According to sources, “Beverly Hills, 90210” creator Darren Star is not involved.

This would be the second spinoff from the series about privileged teens living in Beverly Hills, which aired on Fox from 1990-2000. The first one, the Star-created “Melrose Place,” had a successful seven-year run on Fox. It didn’t feature any major characters from “Beverly Hills.”

A teen soap set in posh Beverly Hills would be a perfect companion to the CW’s buzzworthy freshman drama “Gossip Girl,” which revolves around rich teens living in Manhattan.

Spinoffs are hot this development season. Fox is developing two: “Cleveland,” centered on the henpecked character from the hit animated comedy “Family Guy,” and a “Prison Break” offshoot set at a female prison.

Last year, ABC spun off its medical juggernaut “Grey’s Anatomy” into “Private Practice.”

The CW also has a spinoff on its schedule, the “Girlfriends” offshoot “The Game.”

oh yeah, i forgot that note.  i think it’s good that he doesn’t have the biggest role on family guy now so there is a lot to explore on his own.

smile

Breaking Bad.

Good show.  Is anybody else watching this?

http://imdb.com/title/tt0903747/

It’s about a h.s. chemistry teacher who starts cooking meth to support his family and for other reasons.  In some ways, it’s like Weeds but more enjoyable.

anyone watch Jon and Kate + 8.  Its a decent show about this hapa guy his caucasian wife and their 8 kids ( twins and sextuplets).

Man their kids looks 100% asian even though their only 1/4.  The Dad seems disinterested/aloof at times.

still i cant imagine trying to raise 1 kid yet they are raising 8.

NEW futurama bender’s big score is pretty good.  they showed it on comedy central.

It was slow.

I didn’t stick around long enough to figure out if it was worth watching.

Journeyman was good. and not just because Moon Bloodgood was in it.  Somehow every tv show she’s in (like Daybreak), gets cancelled.  But Journeyman was better than Daybreak, although she wore skimpier clothing in Daybreak.  Ok, time for gratuitous photos of Moon.

On another TV note. Battlestar Galactica starts its final season tomorrow.  I just got off the phone upgrading my cable package so i can get the channel in HD. I blanked out a couple of times with the customer service person because i was staring at the moon bloodgood pix i was posting =P
